About Jason M Bloom

I grew up in this industry.

At 13 years old, I knew I wanted to spend my life in the gym. I just didn't know yet that you could actually build a career doing it.

I played football for most of my life, competed at the Division I level, became a strength coach and spent the next 20+ years going as deep into this industry as I could.

Coaching. Leading teams. Running facilities. Building businesses. Fixing broken ones. Developing people.

This is the work I've grown up doing.

Jason M Bloom

I've done the whole job.

I've worked inside brand-new startups, owned boutique facilities, managed multiple locations and been responsible for multi-million-dollar operations.

I've handled sales, retention, hiring, firing, payroll, break-even, P&Ls, staff development and the number at the end of the month.

I've also unclogged the toilets.

That's the part I think matters.

I know what it feels like when everything eventually comes back to the person responsible for the business.

A career built around developing people.

  • 20+ years in performance & gym operations
  • Thousands of athletes coached
  • Hundreds of professional athletes worked with
  • Nearly a dozen coaches developed who later opened facilities

I've worked in environments serving hundreds of NFL veterans and inside programs that, for multiple years, prepared dozens of athletes annually who went on to be selected in the NFL Draft.

But some of the work I'm proudest of isn't attached to an athlete's name.

It's watching coaches I helped develop grow into leaders, build careers and eventually open facilities of their own.

I pay attention to patterns.

Coaching taught me early that two people can give you the exact same bad result for completely different reasons.

Business is no different.

I look at the numbers. I look at behavior. I look at how people communicate, how they respond and what keeps repeating.

If you don't understand why something is happening, you're guessing at the fix.

The work matters. It just isn't everything anymore.

For a long time, I thought commitment meant giving the work every hour I had.

I learned the hard way that you can build a career while burning down the things around it.

Today, I'm a husband, a father and a man of faith.

My wife Danielle and my kids, Jordan and Jayci, have changed the way I think about success.

I still love this work as much as I ever have.

I just don't believe the business should require your entire life in order to succeed.

I care about this industry.

I've watched gym owners get sold more leads, more software, more equipment, more scripts and now more AI by people who have never actually carried the responsibility of running one.

This is still a service business.

People matter. Leadership matters. Conversations matter. Execution matters.

That's why I do this work.

I want good owners and good coaches to build businesses that make more money, develop better people and give them more back than they take.

You've already built something real.

You don't need somebody standing outside your business telling you how impressive their system is.

You need to understand what is happening inside yours.

That's where I can help.

Get more from your gym without giving it more of your life.

You already did the work to build the business.

Now put the work into the things that will actually give you more back.
